but I don’t feel right when you’re gone…
Lost and lonely, my heart just so bruised
True love fading and past love confused
Knowing my heart only held room for one
And at that time, my love was all or none
His arms were my comfort, tears shed truth
So much bravery in all his youth
Oh, the feelings inside when he stepped up
Looked into my soul – just breathed - keep your chin up
Took me away from my life, so they
Tried their best to make him fade away
They had to know they would never win
‘Cause I felt so free blowing in the wind
Then one day he said his world was me
So much beauty I couldn’t believe
For just a moment I closed my eyes
- blink -
Then I was alone, traumatized, no goodbyes
A little scared and lonely again
He said “listen to this song, and then
“When you hear it, think of me, be strong
“Please, I need you to love me when I’m gone”
And I did, I swear, but as time passed
I found I could not find what he’d asked
Outside myself, beyond memories
His tears, his strength, the way he (used to?) feel…
I still get lost inside that song…
But no one here will find me
So all alone yet never free
And although this is all wrong
There’s so much ground to build upon…

awww . . . love it. Especially the end.
It's so weird how I can actually follow along and think, "whoa, that must be ___" for each one . . . meh. I hate that you have so many to write about. Heartbreak . . . mrrrgh *makes sound like drain being closed*. When karma catches up with you someday (time is ticking, karma, hurry your ass up), call me up so I can celebrate with you.

This one was a little different than the other two...
I don't know what to make of it just yet.
