Explain Me

Contributed by staryeyed on Thursday, 5th December 2002 @ 09:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Explain to me please why he comes and goes.
Why out of control this demon inside of me grows.
Im trying to fight but its just so hard, wondering when he'll push me too far,
Over the edge and into the pit.
Into the pit, I like what I see,
I'm too scared though and I know that's not me.
So here I sit sad and confused.
What a sad little girl, twisted and used.
So much bigger than this world but it's eating me up,
Draining my soul, emptying my cup.
I'll fight to the end, that much of be sure.
For now though, I'm content to let the pain endure.

I like this, it twisted my thoughts around and let me see through your eyes. This is a good work, and remember, what goes around comes around. And whoever used you, will eventually get used.
