I hate the sun... it's too happy

I hate the sun for it’s too happy
Mocking all with its joy
Flaunting perfection for all to see
Dangling hopes for us to believe
Providing impossible dreams
Reflective desires of broken reality
Clutching desperately at the rays
Daring to catch a glimpse of light
Trysting one ray to save your soul
One ray to banish the dark
Oh sun, how you deceive us
Deceive us so well
Day after day people flock in hope
Wanting to catch their beloved ray
Looking out from my window I watch
Watch as the sun taunts me
For who has ever caught their ray?
Nothing more than false hope
Pinned against a futile delusion
Oh it’s true how I hate the sun

There is a lot of phychology behind this very welled penned and interesting poem. Sigmund Freud would be interested too. But oh la la, he cannot comment.
Excellent write
