Rest peacefully, sweet child.
Child who was our mother, wife, daughter,
grandmother, niece, friend.
A radiant light you were to all who knew you,
bringing beauty and laughter to our lives.
You instilled in us a precious appreciation
for every dear creature, flower, tree, seashore,
mountain, lake, meadow.
You sowed within our hearts an understanding
and love of all who roam this earth,
no matter what color or religion.
You, dear mother, have been given a great gift,
the gift of paradise and continual joy.
Never again the pain and sorrow.
You will roam in eternal life
amid the heavens, walking with
the little animals, free at last,
flying with the birds on silver wings.
Beautiful music will fill your being
as you kiss the stars.
Your sweet touch has left an eternal impression
in our hearts, filled with memories.
We will always carry you with us
and remember your sweetness.
Sleep softly, dear one.
And awake within the realm of the
highest love and purest light
that is God’s gift to you.
