Grief

I remember when I saw you for the first time, you glowed and lit up my life.
I handed you my heart and soul to keep safe
You taught me real love and filled my life with joy
The first time we touched, I knew that I could not live without you
You were my world, my heaven, my everything
Now I feel so lonely and lost, I no longer have my heart and soul
You took them and crushed them in your hands
You felt nothing whilst they wept and died
You showed no care and no remorse
Now all that I am is dust in the wind

Well written. It doesn't need to rhyme to be good.
Your feelings were well conveyed.
