Imagination's Goodbye

Topic:
Grief
|
Sun sets
fog rolls in
from shore.
I waved
Goodbye
to her
as
she stood
In a doorway
in the alley
streetlight lit
looking trapped.
I know
she suffers
Lack of Imagination.
Me.
I go on
without
picking up
where others
left off
in the gas
of stoves.

I notice a bit of Sylvia Plath here at the last stanza..Which is a bit odd but very well done for your ending..Good write. |
