Amazement Due to Snow

Contributed by sean88 on Sunday, 16th January 2005 @ 11:32:04 AM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

Brisk, chilled wind
Just enough to freeze,
It’s a rough variation
On a winter breeze,
Dark, black clouds
Shadow overhead,
But lucky enough
I’m still in bed,
The day drags on
Whilst the weather clears,
Leaving behind
Rain drop smears,
I loosen myself
Take a glance outside,
I feel so amazed
I stare wide eyed,
As no rain had fallen
It was crisp, white snow,
My eyes are in love
With its radiant glow,
So rich is this view
It makes my heart beat fast,
Just a shame the sun will arrive
And this feeling won’t last
