My choices violate the simplest plan
and I never forever forget
the way we are together
the way we are apart is not the same
We are so complicated
on a delicate lean
We are slippery and thin
held in
by a fragile seam
The passion never dwindles
only the time inbetween
I sometimes equate the hesitation
with stopping
Loving is all I got
on this bloody Saturday
when you're not here to receive
I lay here
spilling my love onto my sleeve
Looking for a place
in the shadows at home
and I never forever forget
that I am alone
