Medieval laughter echos all around
You give me something
You in your castle
When you turn on the film projector
I can see so many images
Yet they do not appear
So clear
I looked into the eye
Of the Terrible guy
He made me tremble
In fear
You know what I saw
When I stared in awe
At the portrait of the man of law?
A scarecrow made of straw
You make me live into the moon
I'll jump into the pruned blooms
Your my darling of the twilight
I can only see you through glimpses of starlight
We're turning ourselves in
We're turning ourselves into the night
Do you know what happens
To people like us?
We get put on the one-way ticket
Subconscious bus
We get a ride
Passing the green hills by
We can't even look at the sky behind
Wierded out
Out of this time
Unheard of
No more yellow lines
Dropped off the face of the place
Never heard from again
None of those highway men
