Dear Maura,

I’m sorry I couldn’t be the person you loved most
I wish I could tell you it all is just a hoax
I’m sorry you had to lose me, but I just couldn’t stay
I was always trying to find a solution, so it didn’t have to turn out this way
I’m sorry you couldn’t love me
I was never on your list of priorities
I’m sorry you never had time for me
I hope now you’ll pay more attention to your family
I’m sorry you were gone all the time
I hated it when you were gone, but I pretended it was fine
I’m sorry I was always such a pain in the neck
I hope this doesn’t leave you in a wreck
I’m sorry I have to finally say goodbye
I know from now and forever you’ll be asking yourself why
I’m sorry, you’ll never know
My time is almost up now, I have to go

Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.
