To trust someone in their demanding
To try to fix their problems
Is it worth your time and understanding
and to feel bad when you can't solve them

You don't need them but they need you now
Their world is on your shoulders
Will you lend a helping hand somehow
Or will Inside you grow ever colder

They teach you how to be true and loyal
To fight for your beliefs
But when the blood inside you boils
Where then will you find relief

You tried too hard the battles lost
But who has really won
and now that you know the final cost
Whose side will you be on
