Fallen

Contributed by humboldtsweetie33 on Friday, 14th January 2005 @ 10:24:16 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

You will find me on the edge of sanity
falling fast and falling hard
with no one to turn to
and as you watch,
don't try and catch me
for you will only make it more painful for the both of us
just stand down and watch me collapse into the depths of my own mind and sole
there is no reason to catch
it will be better for us both in the end
just watch me crash and burn
watch my marks dry into scars
watch the scars melt back into the pinkish flesh of myslef
then watch as I drag my instrument of choice back across my skin
over and over again as if it is my only duty in life
to make myself bleed
then cry with me as I do everynight
alone and scared of what events behold me when the sun comes up
follow close behind until you finally can comprehend
the agony I am in
the good the bad and the ugly
then you will see behind closed doors
that people are ignorant creatures
who set out to make everyone else miserable and in pain
just stay with me through a whole nights task
and see what it's like to go through the pain of helping
watch me fall as so many before me have
