Numbed to Pain
Is it all cracked up to be
Like it is in your dreams?
What you thought was meant to be
And supposed to be
Isn't reality
Do you finally see
That it's worthless to believe
In creed
Or are you still blinded by your need?
Hope comes at a cost
Just like everything you lost
Feeling pain
Everyday
With the debt you pay
Feeling pain
Till you fade
Away
Numbed to pain
When left frayed
In decay
Do you finally see
That nothing's meant to be?
That everything
Happens consequently?
Can you finally see above
The soil, or is creed not enough?
