I cried today
Not because you hurt me
I cried because I hurt you
Made you think you hurt me
I'm real sorry
I didn't want to make you feel bad
I only said what was on my mind
Not knowing why you're with me
I just don't understand it
So far apart
I can't help but cry
Don't feel bad
I only cry because you're not here with me
I cry because I love you
I cry because I miss you
Because I need you and I want you
Thinking you're with someone else
Because no one wants us together
I cried because you're giving me a chance
When I see you I won't cry
Cause you will hold me and keep my tears at bay
