I can still here them screaming
The sound etched in my mind
Playing over and over again like some cruel broken record
This horrible track one echos through time
I can feel her heart beating
Slower and slower
Rewinding life back into nothingness
The wound bleading
The blood chilling
The eyes closing to meet an oncoming and uncertain darkness
I watch the replay in my mind
I watch the world burn
I watch the bombs drop
And the bullets fly
Watch the children weep
As there mothers die
Watch fathers strugle vainly in an attempt
To save a last fragment of a dissapearing life
I can still feel her hand
Closed tight in mine
Hoping agianst hope
That we could hold back the oncoming tide
That would sweep us all way
To a despreate lonely somewhere
Caught up in the death of the world around me
I watched her die painfully
And I could do nothing
Our life was ending

Good but sad. I hope this didn't happen to you. If it did, I am sorry. I hope things get better.
