Ain’t it funny how history repeats?
Listen to me and take a seat
It wasn’t really the white man that took us from our land
I’ll tell you exactly who it was
It was some Africans
Yes Africans sold their own people into slavery
For what?
A little gold and little jewelry
So what’s so different from today?
We sellin drugs to our own people
For what?
A little Monae
So the repeat of the act
Is actually a fact
So black people keep doin what you doin
Then soon the whole world will be knowin
That we killin our own race
I hate to say it black people
But we are slowly being erased
So history repeatin itself ain’t that funny
But remember black people
It was always for a little money
