YOUR FACE
Oh how I wish I could look upon your face
Just to see your smile
To see your eyes
It would be such a relief to see how you feel
If only I could look upon your face
I hear your tenderness
I hear your thoughtfulness
I hear your longing too
If only I could look upon your face
Your look is so reassuring
Your look is so gentle
Your look is so comforting
Your look shows the true you
If only I could look upon your face
Your look would remind me how we came to be
Your look would show me how you want to be
Your look would show me you still care
Your look would show me you still feel
If only I could look upon your face
I would know if I need to turn and run
It’s been so long
If only I could look upon your face

A very heartfelt write. Time may pass but the memories people have don't always fade, but grow stronger. Definately feeling this write. Great job!

Sometimes people say things and hide their faces. Sometimes people show their faces and hide the real person. But this is a nice write of misty wishing. Blessings. |
