The week with dead silent nights
The lights were dimmed low
Everything was blocked out
There was only you and me
Nothing else mattered except the everlasting moment
Of holding you in my arms
And kissing you like it was for the last time of my life
Laying down with you and cuddling close
Faintly hearing the tv muffled and distorted in the background
Everything was perfect and felt so right
Nothing could go wrong
No more thoughts of leaving eachother
All that mattered was that night
Just you and me, together.
The week of ultimate perfection
Of love, sickness, and intimacy
Of tears and soft spoken words
Of hearts breaking and love taken away
Was heavenly.

It's good that you felt heaven for a whole week while most people don't even get to feel it for a day. Very nice poem!
