The Stirring Sand
The stirring sand from a gust of wind,
Originating from a child laying on a lawn chair,
Envelops the six-legged,
Symbol of social animals.
Falling teardrops cleanse all,
As they drown the creature,
Cutting the source of life,
By being engulfed by it.
A hand removes the naive from the water,
Shaking the earth all around,
Fear surrounds the small and the tall,
As their worlds are collapsing.
By water, wind and earth,
The insect's marks in the sand are destroyed,
The past fading in the tragedy,
Years of social wealth snuffed out in an instant.
The mother calls back her child,
As the wind begins to gain strength,
The ground is shaking,
And the water is rising.
The Natural Mother is dressed in white,
Toying with our insignificant lives,
Blowing away and jumping on the ground,
Crying at the realization of her work.
Like the look of a child,
When they first discover the notion we all come to accept,
When the very first pet,
Ceases to wag its tail.
