Red Snow

Suicide

Alone and wounded
I lie in the snow
Now stained red
Blistfully cold
Snow all around me
Everything is red
I'm slowly dying
But peaceful
Winter is so perfect
Here in the forest
Frozen icicles hanging from treebranches
The most innocent I've seen the world
I smile in the sea of red snow
I want the last thing I see
To be the peace and calm
Of Winter in a forest
I shut my eyes to the world
for the last time
A smile frozen on my face

Sadness and ice combined into a fascinating write.
