I shot the wolf,
I hit the mummy,
Popped the monster,
And capped me some zombie.
Even saved the damsel
And smote the vampire,
But something inside
Tells me this ad's a liar.
So I test out the waters,
Give fake address and ID.
So that if all else fails
At least they won't know it's me.
"Just complete this survey,
It's easy as can be!"
Laughing through the questions,
Starting to be glad that I'm not me!
"Son, your free game system
Will soon be on its way!
And all you have to do
Is sign up for one of these today!"
A credit card, a home loan,
A rental membership.
A sweepstakes, a cell phone.
Geez... I just want my freakin' gift!
"Done with that one, here's another.
Just sign for TWO of these.
Then you're gift is as good as yours
You'll be nothing if not pleased."
Okay, so I'm faking it all,
But the web-forms have no clue!
What do I receive at the end of it all?
Well... not the game-system I am due.
Instead I receive another offer,
Something about the newest walk-man.
Good thing I gave that fake address,
This Zombie shooting gig's a scam.
So for all my good-deed-doing
Killing zombies, wolves, and ghouls,
I don't get a damn thing.
Save a sense of pity for the gullible of fools.
