you can not even claim to know a person when you haven't the slightest clue as to what they are thinking. a person can not be defined by their appearance nor their voice for both are nothing more then ones attempt at expressing their thoughts and an attempt to portray something never perfectly portrays anything. so the only way to know anyone is to read their thoughts and so you live your meaningless exsistance thinking you are close to all these people because you have listened to their meaningless babble about everyday life when truly you know noone but yourself.

Well you're right, but I see no easy solution except to embrace where possible and keep your distance from what seems dangerous. (Not many poets are dangerous in that sense.) Interesting insight. Cheers! |

still, we should try to know people. The only alternative is to build a wall around ourselves..and be alone. Doesn't sound fun to me, |

It's true... but being around people and building relationships is far better than isolation. Good write though, made me think, I like that. |
