Hard to Forget

Contributed by curtisc on Wednesday, 12th January 2005 @ 03:13:21 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

This is a day I never thought would come,
I didn't think you would ever go.
To any other my heart is numb,
I carry with me love you'll never know.

These feelings I've held for far too long,
now must be tossed away.
While life moves right along,
my emotions are still astray.

Feelings this deep are hard to forget,
but i don't have a choice.
I can still remember the day we met,
and i can still hear your voice.

I don't know where to go from here,
my thoughts are a mess.
As I wipe away this one lone tear,
I think of you and the feelings i must suppress.

this is a great poem and i thanku for sharing this one with me and can totally understand how u must be feeling, just recently going through the same thing you have written about. sometimes we have to move on from someone, buts it sooo hard to erase ur emotions, as written in one of my poems "who can stop their heart to feel?" i can honestly relate to what ur going through and i want to say that you will be able to move on and find happiness...i promise. if i can after the way i felt, anyone can. you just have to be strong and believe in yourself. again i want to say u r not alone and i feel so sad for you but everything will be ok.....u wait and see. THANKU so much for sharing,....this was a brillianf write, i loved reading it cuz i could relate so much. all the best
