Christmas For Everyone

Contributed by maria_mendonez_ibardolas on Wednesday, 4th December 2002 @ 08:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Nostalgic

Everyone have a different idea about what is Christmas all about.
For others it might be just buying the best Christmas present they could ever imagine
Without thinking all those credit cards we use to pay them back later on.
Some will be cooking all the nice treats to satisfy our ever bulging tummy.
But I know a lot of people too will be indulging themselves with drinking the finest wine.

All of this has lost the true meaning of Christmas.
But whoever we are, wherever we might be or whatever status we are in, Christmas is for everyone.
But let’s give a thought to other unfortunate people who couldn’t afford to buy any present at all for their families and friends. People who couldn’t even afford to have a decent meal for this special occasion. Not even a smile on their face for all this pressure of Christmas, which they couldn’t afford to celebrate because of this almighty dollar. This is always a problem for those who got nothing.

But then Christmas is for everyone.
Let’s pause for while and think more deeply what is Christmas is all about.
Christmas is for all living person in this planet to celebrate the birth of Christ.
With love from our hearts to share to each person we meet and to others we haven’t met.
To have peace in our hearts and forgiveness for each other to be able to live peacefully in this troubled world we have.
And not to forget, to be thankful to God for everything we got and for the life we have now.

Let’s celebrate Christmas by opening our hearts with love, compassion and forgiveness, which would be a joy to our soul and spirit.
And this would be the best Christmas present you will never forget.

Let the true meaning of Christmas spread around with love and compassion,
With happiness and peace to make this world a better place to live.
For Christmas is for everyone, regardless of your colour, status and religion.

I wish everyone a Merry and Peaceful Christmas and hopefully we could all make a difference in someone’s life. Lets all share love and care to everyone in this world, not only on this special occasion but in our everyday life.
