This is the day of judgment
This is the day of fear
My heart's forever broken
Due to all the shallow souls
Now I close my heart forever
To lock out all the pain
You've hurt me so, I shiver
For I love the one I hate
As I begin to walk away
My soul begins to fade
The world has become a shadow
Swallowed by darkness
As hate begins to dominate
The soul I nearly lost
My soul is set on fire
And now I burn away

its okay, but it could be better, just like everything else in the world. i think this was kind of too random for the point or message to get across clearly. stanzas would be nice also.

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.
