Quiet she stands against passion time
As good as it gets,her time is thine
She swims to meet her aching lover
Starlit skies surronding the water
Her heart plunges in the ocean's calm
While the waves recite an amorous psalm
Verses of one's desire still living amongst the past
A love so favored,so sheer,a love meant to last
Watching over her precious halo hair
He hankers her kiss,her skin so fair
The salt of need meets his lips as she swims
Soft plunges sung into lyrical hymns
A tidal wave comes crashing in
Swallowing whole desire's sin
Lovers meet again in tuxedo and lace
Hearts of crimson fire finally embrace

| amazing poem. written well. nice rhymes and good substance. and to the concept of the discription. the tear has mixed in with the rest of the ocean, so the only way not to find it, would be not to find an ocean. |

Well! You had me with the quote at the top...
Gosh.. this is lovely. I've been sitting here for a while - but haven't yet found the right way to describe it. There is something..... heart-tugging about this. It's that moment in a sad, sad movie that just sneaks up and overwhelms you... *sigh*

wow this is a wonderful piece of writing very vivid in the ideas used. for me, the last stanza stands out because it seems to move in pace quite fast - the poem certainly is a romantic piece of writing - the last stanza pulls the piece together nicely and makes it quite a contemporay poem compared to the rest of the poem which is quite timeless - i like the way you did that.
