R.I.P

Contributed by allymp on Tuesday, 11th January 2005 @ 02:46:46 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I sat there and stared
Not knowing what to do

The room was filled with sorrow
And the air overcome with gloom

I guess i was just in shock
That her life was over and done

And then it suddenly hit me
That her battle had been won

Her life was not an easy one
But she always stood up tall

No matter how many burdens
Never did she fall

She was always wonderful to everyone
And she'll always be in our hearts

All i can say is "Aunt Paulma, I love you"
No matter how far apart

Rest in peace

Aw Allymp
So sorry to hear of your loss. This poem is a nice tribute to your Aunt and you wrote it well.
When you pray talk to her too--if she helped you on earth--how much more can se help you now--going before our God. Yes I think He listens.Keep writing.
Sinned
