If I was given three wishes,
I would need only one.
For me to be yours and you to be mine,
finally the wait would be done.
I love you Christine and always will,
you're on my mind every day.
I've waited this long; I'll wait longer still,
you've taken over my heart and there you'll stay.
I've spent so long imagining your embrace,
but my mind can only create so much.
I'd give anything to run my hands across your face,
and find out how warm an angel feels to the touch.
Each day my heart crys for you Christine,
and yearns to release its love.
It knows when its found its match,
just like the beautiful turtle dove.
