I cant get her off my mind
And its driving me crazy
Its been two years since we broke up
And her loving memory still lives on in my mind
Talking and laughing as the hours pass by
Looking up at the stars with the cool summer breeze in our faces
Laying in the street giggling about this and that
I wonder if she still thinks about those nights
I hope she does
And I hope she cries when she remembers
Crying because she lost me
I know I cried when I lost her
And I still want too sometimes
A broken heart is the worst pain to have
I’m just waiting for someone to heal me

There are those who merely cross our paths for such short moments while others are there for longer periods. However, those ever fleeting times are those moments which stick with us for years. The pain subsides, only to come back when something triggers the memory. Yet, sweet still it is, mixed with the pain. Well written!
