selfstruggles

I thought about it, thought some more,
But couldn't quench the thirst.
I'm in need of it, need it more,
On this my mind is cursed.
Fantasies were born within me,
And desire fans the flame.
This cruelish thing and my own action
Have need to be the same.
So see the hunger, see the peril
That glows behind my eyes.
Know I want to bare the darkness
And feed upon its rise.

*thinks stitch doesn't understand the metaphor too well*
Well I like it. The first two lines of the second stanza are especially well said. Cheers! |
