Twisted words

Eloquent words that come so freely,
haven't done any good at winning your heart,
People say that I can twist the truth,
the people who used my skills keep us apart,

The author writes what is needed,
different points of view and unlikely perceptions,
To protect his friends livelihood,
their vernacular skewed but no deceptions,

Imaginative diction from someone else's shoes,
what happens in seconds for those with 20/20,
Verbiage utilized with thought and discretion,
They had no time to think the others have plenty,

Words written at work containing no feeling,
epiphanies from the heart emotions for Sunshine,
Like equating the light to its opposing night,
or the sweet ocean to post distillery brine,

I can't twist my words of love,
they erupt from my soul akin to molten rock,
But unfortunately after they cool,
they are twisted by the former flock
