In another life and time,
We could be what we truly are.
But I, myself am sworn to another.
If I love him I do not know,
But I love you.
When the wind sings I hear your voice,
When the fire burns I feel your touch,
But sadly I belong to another.
I long for you like no other,
The Earth trembles,
and I am lost in you,
And I know by this, I love you.
Time stops and all I know is our presence,
A great waterfall that flows,
and knows no master,
But painfully my heart is chained by another.
