A match of rapture

Contributed by tWiStLe on Monday, 10th January 2005 @ 11:23:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Your smile started it all,
so real and so true.
Your eyes followed through.
So transparent,
they bared your desires.
A stream of thoughts collided with intensity of emotion.
Lost in the moment,
our fingers intertwined,
palms pressed together
as you gazed down into my eyes.
Your warm breath against my neck,
the trigger of senses
as your fingertips then brush down my back.
Our minds lost in reminiscence of the many times before.
Heat radiates from murmurs of passion.
Moments pass as i brush my fingers through your hair.
I now watch you sleep,
content, safe and secure in my embrace.
Your skin so soft against the curves of my body.
We peice together like a puzzle....
A match of rapture.

I realise everything i witnessed through your eyes,
Everything i percieved through your smile
that very first time was so genuine.
We were both so unaware of
the life you were to breathe back into me
and the love to be delivered
that i feel i don't deserve.
