Dwindling Issues

The time in a blink of an eye
I sit and think and ask myself why?
Is this really happening?
Are we really through?
Is this it for me and you?
Feelings still there, for reason less know by her and I
Yet another reason in which I ask why?
If the burden is deep and heavy hearted, take the wait and set it free
Speak your mind, your body and your longing to know
the meaning still unforetold
I sit here not think and ponder was it something that was supposed to happen?
Was it fate creeping its ugly head?
THE HELL WITH FATE I SAY! DESTINY?NO WAY!
I control my life not someone else!
but if fate is so true, why didn't fate lead me back, straight back to you

hrm, i felt that too many questions were used in this. a bit too repetitive here and there also. good ending concept though, that was the best part of the poem. |
