thirteen

Topic: SongLyrics

sometimes it seems too hard/ to be happy and carefree
not knowing what to do with myself/ through this rain i cannot see

and sometimes it seems too hard/ to smile
to be a kid without a care/ of my inner angst you are all unaware

this is real tiring/ dont think i can stay
so come on/ anyone take me away

thirteen/young and dumb

(chorus)
i like it/ im not gonna cry
im alone/im not gonna cry
so happy/ im not gonna cry
im helpless/ im not gonna cry

drowning in my pity/ it all seems unreal
a future unknown and dangerous/ somebody tell me what to feel

this is real tiring/ dont think i can stay
so come on/ anyone take me away
thirteen/ young and dumb
(chorus)

sometimes it seems too hard/ to be happy and carefree
not knowing what to do with myself/ through this rain i cannot see

its as if these years are endless/ smothered in my tears and strife
am i honestly the only one/ that wishes for a different life?

That was fantastic. I could really feel it and the repetition works very well.
Reminds me very much of LINKIN PARK's style, those guys rock.

But for those who want it with the music, seriously - if you know you're music, notes will play in your head the 1st time you read it.

But back to the lyrics - great, keep writing!

Cheers,
