There's so much living I've still yet to do
Material gain becomes passive, only my spirit remains
Knowing what will best relieve my dull and aching, pains
Praying that no one's left standing behind in within the rain
So much left to do, so much left to know
No idea of how much time is left in this place
I'm standing here holding onto promised words
Aching to feel my destiny within my arms again
Hoping that it shall not slip through my finger tips
Like so many graceful ladies before this one
Right now I choose to hold onto this feeling, my moment
Standing staring into the the beauty of winter's full moon
Letting go of an age old neon black apocalypse
With determination to defy the odds and standards before me
Wanting to defy all those who want me to stop living
Before the hour arrives that its time for me to die.
