Dear Mom

Dear mom,

Mom I’m writing just to say hi!

I write everyday and I get no reply

How’s my brother is he doing well?

How are my sisters and dad as well?

Did you just forget about me?

What have I done?

Why don’t you reply to me?

I miss you and I need you

Why have you left me all alone?

Every time that I call you

You hang up the phone

Ever since I was young

You just pushed me around

Slammed my head on the wall

You told me I wasn’t meant to be born

I was 17 when you arranged me to wed

A man I didn’t know

And that I had never met

I have two children now

Do you even want to know their names?

It’s Sophie and junior they have your face

It’s been 7 years and you still don’t care

Was I really a problem to you back then?

I hope I never shattered your hopes or dreams

Because I divorced the man I married

Everyday he bashed me

I’m now stronger than ever

For years I was down

I’ve met a man now

Am I’m blessed with his love

I only have a couple of things left to say

I forgive you but I don’t forget

Everyone has there day

Karmas a B@itch

One day you will see

Your conscious battle you

It will be over me

So goodbye forever

I write you no more

But always remember it was your loss

i guess you will never know

Because I loved you and you didn’t love me

I’m about to break your cycle

And drain all my love in my kids.

LOVE DEVINE XOX

WOW.... again I say WOW. That a mother could be that way I'll never unnderstand even though my own wasnt much better. Glad to see that you know you are so much more than what she tried to tell you.
