Do You Hear My Pain

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

i wish you could see the emptiness i live now
since mommas gone there is an empty house left
im so alone on one to share my world with
at least when she was alive i had her now no one
do you hear my pain do you care

we had a comradrieship when she was alive you and i
now i dont share your wold you never call
you dont miss me im in the past youve forgotten me
its only when i jump up and down that you see me
do you hear my pain do you care

i sit here reading the screen calling each other
but i dont see my name anymore im in the past
an era no one wishes to remember i no longer exist
how sad to be a part of the past that no one wants
do you hear my pain do you care

for months i have waited for you even my overtures
were lost in the shuffle answered than forgotten
my writing this doesnt matter anyways im still lonely
the sad part now if you do respond it will be from guilt
do you hear my pain do you care

amazing how we can let something as simple as a 'hi, just thinking of you' become such a chore. makes you wonder if the caring was ever really there?
good write
thanks for sharing
