Just because she up’d and walked away,
Doesn’t mean you have to cry all day,
I know it’s not easy all this pain,
But believe me that you will love again,
Only a smile away from being happy.
Be brave and face your friends,
A crying heart never mends,
We’ll talk of anything but her,
Nor of lovers who cannot concur,
Another day closer to being happy.
Yes, every second of every day,
Comes the memories of you two at play,
But you must plan for your tomorrow,
Leave her boy and mend your sorrow,
Fight back, be strong, be happy.
We all have loved and lost,
Tracks of tears witness the cost,
Every love song ever written,
Tells of fools who were once smitten,
But one day you’ll smile, and again be happy.
