Complete My Need

You know that I want you,
How I want your time to share,
The words you say and looks you give.
You know I always want you there,
So I can comfort you, take care of you,
Want you to know I'll be there too.
You know that I love you,
A steady edge I've grown used to standing on,
And you, I've learned to lean on.
But did you know that I need you?
Just realized myself, how deep I feel
For you...I see no end, I feel no end,
I fall but trust I will not land, and
And now...now I need you too...
Find myself questioning what before I knew,
Lost in thought, considering you,
I need your assurance in me,
I must know if what I feel is real,
What did you say to make all of my senses go away?
I need, I need the half of my mind you took
When you blew me away with your love.
I need the pieces of my heart you continue to steal,
To know my passions again, my faith now is in you...
Fought against the feelings, backed away from what was new.
I thought I could stay in love and not need,
Turned away from the mysteries you lead...
Fought to get my heart back to whole,
But away from you there's no control.
I need to get the other half of my heart back,
So come back to me, complete me, my soul...
