There are sounds buzzing through the air.
There is a promise painted in the halls
And a tear that has yet to fall from a blue eye.
There is a glass sitting on the table
Waiting for tears to fall into it
So it can flood the world with the truth.
A flag is fluttering in the wind
A promise broken and a world crumbling.
All hail what we used to stand for.
When waters tumbled down
And the world goes bye-bye
We will remember the glass of tears, telling us what was to come.

Great heart-felt write. I loved the part " we will remember the glass of tears, telling us what was to come." It speaks volumes. I hope that you can find happiness. Remember God is the perfect comforter. You're still in my prayers.
