Goodbye Friend

Forever is the light in a blind man's eyes
Simpleness in all he sees
Fiery rivers raging fierce
Casting off all life's pleasures
Tried and true the seasons come
Bringing with a spider web of puzzles
Amid the chaos
An angel's found
Perched upon a cliff up high
To catch your body as it fails
There stands a rock
Against a moonlit backdrop
The shadows tell a tale of woe
May the silence come to cease
May the light be forever etched
May the angel's sing of grace
And may you lay your head to rest...
