It’s been twenty years
Since I’ve seen you last
You’re a dear old friend
From my past
We’ve lost touch
Over the years
Went separate ways
Followed our own cares
I went on to college
You went to the south
Each living their dream
Of happiness and wealth
After all these years
Fate would bring you back around
To your hometown
Your heart was bound
Good to see you
Once again
We can reminisce
How our friendship began
Welcome home
I hope you’re here to stay
We can begin were we left off
Back in the day
