all alone?

Contributed by humboldthunny17 on Saturday, 8th January 2005 @ 09:08:40 AM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

she sat all alone in the world
no one to find her to help her get out
she thought no one cared for her words
so she sat around while the others would shout

while sitting alone one long day
she looked up and saw a boy with a bright smile
she smiled, he was walking her way
she'd been hoping for this for the longest while

he talked to her forever
lifting her spirits
she never thought, NEVER
someone would ever hear it

her soul was poured out
as closer this boy grew
together they'd shout
together they both knew

she would not sit all alone
in the world from here on
there was someone who had known
someone to join in her song

Awww, this is so cute and sweet.
It's lovely when things like this happen.
Even better when someone writes so well about it.

Great poem,
*hugs* Phil xx
