PSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHSSSSSSSSSST!
SLAM!
“Did you see the bags under his eyes!??”
“Yeah, Mirror, he looked terrible” responded Bathroom Sink. “I wonder what he was doing. Maybe he…”
“…He was probably up all night getting into trouble again.” Razor interrupted cuttingly. “He’s skipped me two days in a row now”.
“Take it easy on him” said Toothbrush, looking a little pink in the bristles, “maybe he was up with a sick friend or something.”
“Look Toothbrush, you’ve only been around a few weeks. You don’t know him like we do” Gurgled Sink Drain.
“How was the shower this morning”, Curtain?
“Well…I did everything I could to get close to him,” Shower Curtain responded flirtatiously.
“She’ll try that with anyone who turns on the water,” whispered Faucet.
Go to hell! Snapped curtain. And wipe that drop off your chin, you drooling buffoon!”
“I just wish he’d take better care of us. He can be so egocentric,” said Tub
“Not to mention his aim!”
Yelled Bathroom Floor knowingly
“Take it easy you guys. I think we’re all just feeling a little neglected,” said Mirror.
Always quick to defend, Toothbrush said: He’s probably just wrapped up in something really important and doesn’t have enough time to spend on us.”
Razor was quick to retort: “I heard from someone that TV was only broken for one day before he took him in to be fixed!”
Faucet sniffed jealously as another drop dribbled from her chin.
“I guess…
I…just feel a little unappreciated and dumped on” said Bathroom Sink.
Toilet just sighed and kept her lid shut.

Excellent poem!!! I have to say, I'm not really a reader of poems, but a very good friend has shown me this site and your poem. I LOVE it, I can see my own bathroom fixtures having a similar conversation. Although, I treat my bathroom floor a bit nicer, as I'm a sitter.

I laugh at alot of things but not this! It was clevar that u sat in the bathroom, probably taking a bath...or spending a penny and decided to pass the time by making thw rold of bathrooms talk to you about the weird guy that u are! lol! I'll have to be honest and say it's not your best stuff, but I do realize it's just a bit of fun.
I'm leaving a comment because this poem is similar to my first entry. (DISH & SPOON SPLITTING UP)
It's about what happened after the dish ran away with the spoon in the Hey Diddle Diddle rhyme.
Check it out. I'd love to hear your feedback, you being a teacher and all, who's imagination seems to travel a similar road to my own.
