No Fuss Gus:
Once
In the past
There was a memory
Of fogging glass
With the breath of ages
Increasing
Voluminous wavelengths
Inspiring
Each and every youth
Mr. Sand:
The soldiers began to regroup
Hoping in a revolt (midnight coup)
Hoping to outwit childish revelry
While the dust of laughter was settling
No Fuss Gus:
Pull
Me away from
The conscious light
Unmake me and
Take me
To the far-out lands
Of the night
Where the moon and my mind
Become intertwined
Show me how
Know me as a shadow

Well this is interesting. The title pulled me in to read, but it's *not* what I was expecting. "Know me as a shadow." I like that. Not quite sure how to interpret this one; it might take more time. Intriguing. Cheers! |
