You know , Your face looks familar I swear Ive seen your smile before,
Probably , back in the days when we wore arrest warrants ,
Like decorative medals of honur and we swore ,
Chemical lies,
In white lines ,
Through bloodshot eyes that are raw,
Battlescars that rise from an inner war.
Strolled down jack daniels road , and smoked and choked , till ur all alone on a island starnded from your pain , so let it rain ,
and strike a vien ,
And ripping the uniform,
And the dialect told thats it nowhere u havent been before,
Weeping the red tears of a tired whore ,
Battlescars that rise from an inner war .

whoa, i was completely caught off guard by this. I wasn't expecting such a colorful, emotional peice after i read that you just started writing. Its wonderful, i loved it. It was very honest and straight up but at the same time makes you want to stop and think about whats really going on in the poem. well done!! Hope to see more from you soon. |
