What if life
Had taken a different path
Changed our lives completely
Screwed up on its math

What if you'd grown up
In a different town
Went to a different school
I would never see you around

What if I saw you at a game
We made eye contact
Would we have known
What our lives had lacked

What if I became friends with you
Would we feel the same
Or would you
Just forget my name

All of these thoughts...
Maybe you thought them too
I must be so lucky
That I actually found you

now that would be a scary thought about the one you love, I can see it though, for I almost did end up with the wrong woman.
