EVENING PICNIC
WHAT AN EXCITING TIME
TO SHARE WITH YOUR FRIEND
LET’S GO TO OUR FAVORITE SPOT
THE LEAVES ARE TURNING COLORS
THE WIND IS SOFTLY BLOWING
THE GRASS IS OH SO SOFT AND WARM
FEELS LIKE SITTING ON A CARPETED FLOOR
THE PATCH WORKQULT SPREAD OUT FOR TWO
STRETCH YOUR LEGS AND LOOK UP AT THE BLUE
WATCH THE PUFFY CLOUDS FLEETING BY
LAY YOUR HEAD ON MY LAP AND LAUGH YOUR CARES AWAY
SHOW ME THE SILLY SIDE WITH YOUR WIT AND CHARM
LET’S WATCH THE SUNSET AND THE STARS LIGHT UP THE SKY
THE MOON IS SO FULL AND BRIGHT
LET’S SPEND THE EVENING IN SUCH DELIGHT
THE LIGHTING BUGS GLOWING BRIGHT
THE CRICKETS CHIRPING TO OUR DELIGHT
MAY WE LINGER TILL THE MORNING LIGHT
