closed doors and bleeding hearts

Contributed by surge_joebot on Wednesday, 5th January 2005 @ 02:40:48 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Behind closed doors
In a room without walls
She sits and she cries
While a part of her dies
Empty and broken
Soulless emotions
Do run through her head
The happiness long dead

You made her this monster
This person that's not her
You unknowingly broke her heart
Now torn apart
This nothingness being
Her loving, your deceiving

You didn't say I love you
She thought love meant you didn't have to
Treated her like dirt
Now all she feels is hurt
You didn't care
How could you not hear
Her mind in such strife
You didn't hear her snap when you took her life

This really cried out to me. I love it.
Especially this:

Behind closed doors
In a room without walls
She sits and she cries
While a part of her dies
Empty and broken
Soulless emotions
Do run through her head
The happiness long dead

I absolutley adore it. It's fantastic.
The rhyme and everything is just perfect.

Keep it up.
*huggies* Phil xxx
